Return Policy
At Montemaré, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we’re here to help. Please review our return policy below.
***Holiday Return & Exchange Policy***
To make holiday gifting easier, we’ve extended our return and exchange window for purchases made as gifts during the holiday season.
- Items purchased or gifted in November and December may be returned or exchanged through January 15, 2026.
- Gift recipients can contact us through the contact form below with the purchaser’s name or order number to begin the process.
We hope this allows you to gift Montemaré with confidence and peace of mind.
Eligibility for Returns:
- Items must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition as when you received it, and in the original packaging, including all tags and accessories.
- Sale items are final sale and not eligible for return.
Return Process:
- To initiate a return, please message us through our contact form with your order number and reason for the return.
- Once approved, we will provide you with return instructions and a shipping label if applicable. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item received or defective product).
- Ship the item back to us within 7 days of receiving the return authorization.
Refunds:
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
- Please note that the original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Exchanges:
- We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please email us with photos and details of the issue.
- If the item was a gift, and the recipient would like a different item, please write use through our contact form and we will do our best to accommodate.
Late or Missing Refunds:
- If you haven’t received a refund yet, please first check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- If you’ve done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us.
Damaged or Defective Items:
- If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will gladly assist you in returning or replacing the item.
***Special Note: Vienna Carry-On Tote***
We’ve identified a quality issue affecting a limited number of our Vienna Carry-On Totes purchased before November 1, 2025. If you experience the black edging on the handles peeling or coming off, please contact us through the contact form below with your order information and photos of the issue. We will gladly work with you to resolve this issue.
