Montemaré is a women’s travel and handbag brand built around a simple idea: the things you carry should be as considered as the places you’re going. We work with boutiques, resort shops, museum stores, and specialty retailers who share that instinct.
Our Story
Montemaré was founded on the belief that travel should feel like an occasion, not an ordeal.
Every piece begins with the question of how a woman actually moves through her day: the airport, the office, the long weekend, the walk home after dark. The result is a line built on quiet luxury, with clean silhouettes, considered hardware, and functional details that reveal themselves only once you're using the bag.
The name comes from monte and mare: mountain and sea. It's where we're headed, and it's who we make these for.

Can we see the product in person?
Absolutely! We participate in trade shows throughout the year, including the Atlanta Home & Gift Market in January and July, where you can find us in the temporary exhibits area. We'll continue adding upcoming events as they're confirmed.
Do you offer trunk shows for retail partners?
Yes! We offer trunk shows throughout the year for our retail partners. These may include special monogramming events featuring our gold foil press or a visit from our founder.
