Montemaré marked an exciting milestone as the brand presented its travel bags, handbags, and accessories at New York Fashion Week, appearing as part of the runway shows produced by Flying Solo.
The Montemaré team received an exclusive invitation from Flying Solo to participate in the showcase, which brought together 56 designers from around the world at Pier 59 in New York City. Among them, Montemaré stood out as one of only four American designers and one of just two handbag designers featured during the event.
Across four runway shows, Montemaré presented 18 handbags from its Vienna, Palma, Sedona, and Oslo collections—each highlighting the brand’s refined silhouettes, thoughtful details, and sophisticated approach to modern travel accessories. Montemaré was also the only designer featured in all four shows, underscoring the brand’s growing presence within the global accessories space.
The showcase also generated recognition beyond the runway. Montemaré’s Oslo bag was later featured in a post by @difadnyc, highlighting “5 Looks We Didn’t Know We Needed from Flying Solo after this NYFW,” further spotlighting the brand’s distinctive design approach. Fashion Week Online, Elle and L'Official also covered the event giving a shoutout to Montemaré.

At New York Fashion Week, Montemaré presented a curated runway selection showcasing the brand’s sleek and sophisticated approach to modern travel accessories. Across the four shows, 18 handbags from the Vienna, Palma, Sedona, and Oslo collections illustrated different aspects of Montemaré’s design philosophy.
The Vienna collection introduced structured silhouettes and polished finishes that reflect a refined metropolitan aesthetic—bags designed for professionals who move seamlessly between work, travel, and everyday life.
The Palma collection brought a lighter, more relaxed feel to the runway, inspired by sun-soaked destinations and effortless travel. With its distinctive silhouette, it captures the feeling of a getaway—effortless, refined, and ready to go wherever you go.
